After over a year trapped inside our homes unable to visit anywhere new, it is about time we should get out and travel.

There are five must see cities that belong on everyone’s bucket list:
Edinburgh

This vibrant city is perfect for a weekend getaway. One of the first attractions you should visit is Edinburgh Castle which rest on a dormant volcano. The city’s cobbled streets are a great place to a take stroll and soak up the evening sun and later on take the opportunity to experience a ghost tour. If you Fancy classic pub food, Hector’s the perfect place.
Vienna

The majestic capital of Austria is home to some of the most beautiful architecture. Take a walk down Kärntner Strasse, a famous shopping street in the city, that has been around since the Roman’s inhabited the city, and admire. During your stay make sure to visit Schönbrunn Palace and its stunning grounds, a perfect location for a picnic and enjoy an apple strudel and a pint of Vienna lager.
Barcelona

Barcelona is a stunning seafront city that explodes with culture and art. If you are a football fan, be sure to visit Camp Nou , home of one of the worlds best teams. A fascinating attraction you must visit is Basílica de la Sagrada Familia; the world-renowned church has been under construction since 1882. If you get time, I recommend spending time relaxing on the beach and swimming in the beautiful sea. Paradiso is a popular bar in Barcelona that is worth a visit if you fancy a cocktail.
Athens

Athens, the heart of the ancient world that still shines today. There is a plethora of incredible museums that you must visit during your stay including the Acropolis Museum, which is a short walk away from the phenomenal Acropolis that stands proud over the city. A hidden gem of the city is the National Gardens, a glorious escape from the chaos of citylife. The highly popular restaurant, Karamanlidika is a great place to explore Greek cuisine.
Stockholm

Stockholm consists of 14 islands and countless bridges; is a great place for a weekend away. Why not visit Skansen Museum to explore Stockholm’s history. After understanding the city's history, explore it from the water and take an Ecosightseeing boat tour. ABBA is one of the most famous bands in the world and Stockholm is home to their iconic ABBA museum, if you’re music fan it is worth a visit.
Hopefully, after being trapped at home you have found the inspiration go out and travel the world and one of these fantastic cities will be on your bucket list.
