The Local Traveller
Travel beyond the screen
ABOUT ME
Travel has always been a passion of mine and as a journalism student, travel journalism was a great way of expressing my passion. My travel journalism was is a great way of expressing my passion.
I was born and bred on the Dorset coast and this has shaped the way I travel and explore the country. I grew up going on adventurous journeys across the county and exploring beaches and beautiful heaths and forests.
To be honest, I believe I was spoilt with the location I was raised in but it me inspired to visit different parts of the country and beyond.

I was under a year old when I first went on holiday. We travelled to Spain and according to my parents I loved the swimming pool and adored spending time in the Mediterranean sun.
Nineteen years later I still thrive in the heat. Some of my favourite places that I have visited are Crete in Greece, the beaches and mountains were breath-taking, Bude, Cornwall is so peaceful, and jam packed with lots of fun activities. Lake Garda and Barcelona are two other places that I believe everyone should visit.

My travel bucket list is very extensive. At the top of the list are the Swiss Alps, kayaking on the beautiful lakes is a dream of mine. Backpacking across Asia, specifically Thailand, Vietnam and China. I want to go to Budapest and Copenhagen because I have read great reviews about the two cities and I would love to find out how great they are myself.
